Retirement Wanderlust

Explore retirement, your way

For women in retirement who want to reconnect with themselves through reflection, connection, and thoughtful exploration.

You don’t need to have a plan.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s next.
You can begin here, simply by noticing what is drawing your attention.

If you’re new here and would like a simple place to begin, you might like to start here.

The person behind Retirement Wanderlust

Hi, I’m Dee, and Retirement Wanderlust grew out of my own experience of stepping into retirement and discovering that something important was missing from the conversation.

Most of what I found focused on finances.

What I felt was harder to name: the shift in identity, the quiet adjustment, the space between “I should be enjoying this” and “I want something that feels more like me.”

This space exists for that.

It is not about reinvention or ticking off destinations.
It is about rediscovering purpose, connection, and curiosity at a pace that feels right for you.

Here, you’ll find honest reflection, real stories, and simple ways to begin exploring life, whether that’s close to home or further afield.

I write from lived experience, alongside other women navigating this chapter in their own thoughtful way.

You don’t need a plan yet.
You just need a place to begin.
